Week 113 24-30 May CRD57

Sunday 24 Robyn and i sorted out the cows this morning and found the cows belonging to the two calves and pit them in the paddock behind the container. Church at Cooranga North. I preached. Nick and Adele packed while Robyn and I were at church. We got home to see them off. Then we picked up Dad and we had lunch at Pips n Cherries. Peg joined us. Home for a nap and then changed the oil in Explorer 1. Need to buy a new drum now.  Monday 25 Robyn went to Dalby and I went to Jandowae today. Got home to the ball tap on trough below the dairy broken. Robyn went to Bible Study on her way home. Dad did not have a good day because he missed one of his tablets the chemist did not supply last week. Will get some more tomorrow.  Tuesday 26 Bell today to school. Came home early because I was not feeling that good. Robyn went to Kingaroy to shop. We sent in 11 cows today Phil Northcot picked them up. Week 112 17-23 May CRD50

Sunday 17 Robyn, Nay and the kids went to church. I went to the airport and pickup Ben. After some morning tea Robyn amd I packed up and headed home. We had lunch in Chatlton and got home about 4pm. We went to check on Weaners and found 4 of them in the otherplace hill paddock. The fence was broken. Put them back in and repaired it. We put the four who ate ways in the wrong paddock back too.  Monday 18 School Jandowae. Robyn did the washing. A little bit of rain about. Big rain at Ian's on the Gold Coast. Brought in another 12 bails of hay. Just dropped them at the piggery for now. May need to wait for them to dry out.  Tuesday 19 School in Bell. Robyn took Julie to appointments in Toowoomba today and tomorrow so staying overnight at Wendy's. Rain today we recorded 20mm.  Wednesday 20 School in Bell. I got chatted by the principal today for touching a student. I have no memory of the event but would not deny it happened in my attempt to developed connection with students ...

Week 111 10-16May CRD45

Sunday 10 Preached at Cooranga North. 1 Cor 11. Robyn went over to her mum's for mother's day and Dad and I went to Pips n Cherries. Home for a nap. Pumped rain water up to fill steel tank then switched house supply to poly tank. Counted 10 head up the back and one heifer has crawled into the front hill paddock. Robyn had a bingle in the ute driving into a wire gate across the road on the way into Pothero's. Finished the day doing school prep and watching MotoGP.  Monday 11 Teach in Jandowae. Came home. Still 10 cows up the back and 1 in the front hill paddock. Started moving hay out of the paddock in front of the house. Recieved a call from panel beater today they can look at the ute on 25th June.  Tuesday 12 Went the Kingaroy today. I went to a Session Meeting and Robyn shopped. We had lunch together and we came home too find cows in the Bee paddock. We chased them out and then set gates to encourage the remaining cattle from the back hill paddock to come in. We then clea...

Week110 3-9 May CRD41

Sunday 3 Church in Bell followed by Committee of Management. Lunch at Pips n Cherries after. Home for a nap. Chantal took last of the bales in the other place cultivation and we opened the gates so the cattle from the back hill paddock and the spring could come down. Elise showed up on dark and Zac and Louise came a little later. Nice to see them.  Monday 4 Robyn took Bonny Doone over to Pegs and had lunch with her. I got up early and went for a bike ride to Crow's Nest and meet Troy and Chris for breakfast and then went on to Kilcoy for lunch with Paul. Zac and Louise went home and Elise spent the day with Dad. Public holiday today.  Tuesday 5 School in Bell.  Became a bit fluey during the day so I came straight home to dop up and rest so i can do tomorrow. Robyn went to town. Week 109 26Apr-2May CRD37

Sunday 26 Church at Cooranga North. Alan Grant came out from Kingaroy to preach and do communion. Lunch in Pips and Cherries home for a nap then up to visit Ken and look at his shed site. Prep for school watch MotoGP. Monday 27 Jandowae and Robyn went to Bell to teach 4/5. I stopped in at O'Brien's on the way home to help Hayley with Maths and a quick look at History. Robyn went to Bible studyvand we got home about the same time. Had a quick look at work for Bell tomorrow.  Tuesday 28 School in Bell. Robyn went to town with Dad. Ebony came out after. I after staff meeting after school got home about 4.30. Robyn was cleaning up piggery and I pull rear shock out of the TTR ready for Robyn to take to the Coast on Friday.  Wednesday 29 Bell today. Struggled with classes today. Disappointing as I put time into planning yesterday. Week 108 19-25April CRD32

Sunday 19 Church in Bell. Alan preached. Dad did not come. He was not upto it. We came home after for lunch. Afternoon nap then a ride over the hill. Had a look for pipe and then back down and counted the bailed hay. 44 on our block below the mill. Preped for Monday at school.  Monday 20 Jandowae today. Not a good day. The low level choas behaviours of some of the students today was unrelenting. Got to about 10mins from the end of the second lesson with Year 7/8 and I rang the boss to tell him I was done. Needed some time out to reflect. Think I was anxious about the whole challenge this term. Need to revisit my strategy and plans for this class and in particular one or two students. Came home past Cooranga North and got a fitting to check on pipe and then took the ute up to Moseling to unload leftover concrete boxing. Week107 12-18 April CRD27

Sunday 12 Ian went to Dalby to get a hot water system and then took our ute to Ramsay's to fit it. I went to church early to remove the plastic from ramp and path. After church we met Ian and Jayne at Pips n Cherries for lunch. Came home and packed up Boonie Doon which we had setup in case Matt wanted to use it.  Monday 13 Took hire gear back to Dalby and got my hair cut. Filled the ute $250. Got a Gas bottle replacement in Bell on the way home. Came home insralled gas and pumped water. Bill and Judy arrived at 1pm for lunch. Bill and I went upto the church and made a list of the stuff we needed to plumb tank and repair the toilet. Came home and watched Brokenwood together.  Tuesday 14 Robyn and I went to Kingaroy. Dad did not come. I rode the 500 in and got a roadworthy. Got the stuff for church and did the shopping and got homecabout 3.30pm. Did a little bit in the piggery in prep to put the hay up there.
