Farm life 2024

Sunday 25 Preached on Love at Cooranga North. Small group for 4th Sunday. Lunch at Pips n Cherries. Home for a nap then to OBrien's to return trailer and a yarn. Came home to a cow in the yard so we put her out and we put others in the cultivation back through to where they should be in at the trough above the diary. Started on the next series of Clarkson's Farm. Monday 26 Relief at DCC. Robyn and Dad went to Dalby to have dad's leg dressed for the last time. They took a drive in the country through Kondii to Sunnyvale going  around the back of Bell. I was on Man Arts and found some bits of steel to fix the back gate. When I got home Dad and I had a yarn on the front verandah till Robyn came home from Bible Study and the vet visit for Nala's shots. Robyn and I washed the ute before dark. Sunday 18 Second day of Bell Trial Ride. Longer track today. Because everyone is there now there was not as staggered a start as yesterday so is was a lot busier. Had one big off going over a log and hit my head on an over hanging fallen tree. Did not even know what hit me. Fortunately I am OK. Finished packed up and head to Pips n Cherries fie lunch with Dad and Robyn. They had been to church. Alan M preached. Had a call with Anna about selling her car. Looks like sge has a buyer at the right price. Finished the day watching the last episode of Clarkson Farm session 1.  Monday 19 Robyn and Dad went to Dalby so Dad could have his leg dressed. I worked on message for next Sunday, mowed grass, sprayed weeds and mill tanks area, put out washing, reset mouse baits, removed rest of the tree fallen near the road and moved car from dairy to top house with tractor and forks.  Tuesday 20 Teaching at DCC, Robyn finishes washing and sorted food while we will be away. Sunday 11 Church at Cooranga North. Adam preached. Lunch at Pips n Cherries. We did not go at all last week. Watch Super bikes and had a long call with Zach. Robyn Repacked stuff in the garden shed. I found books to give to Jan Maree. Load empty gas bottles to exchange tomorrow. Watched a Clarkson Farm. Monday 12 Started work on Wambo Wind Farm application for the church. Into to DCC to teach session 1&2 and 6&7. Robyn and Dad came into for appointments. Robyn with doctor and Dad to get his leg dressed. Then Robyn and I went to see Mal Smith. Think we can work with Mal. Robyn told her test showed her was in danger of diabetes and the cholesterol levels were high. On my way home stopped at Bell but they have no gas. Brought an impact screwdriver from M10. When I got home to use it it striped the driver tip. Disappointing. Sunday 4 Church today in Bell. Dad stayed home today. Checked water and my tie wire seems to be holding well. Robyn and I did the rubbish in the late afternoon. Monday 5 Dad and I went to Kingaroy. Got some bits for the trough and fixed it when I get home. Robyn went to Toowoomba for her doctor's appointment about test results. She come home on some medication to trial. Dad banged his leg on the car door and made it bleed in town. Fixed the boundary fence too.  Tuesday 6 Great Uncle Joe's memorial service in Bell this morning Ken, Rosemary and Phil and a Cousin Harold who is Dad's Uncle Ben's grandson was there along with Robyn Dad and I. Lunch at the Bell Community centre was good. Back home Robyn washed.  Wednesday 7 Dalby Christian School called me in to do relief for the first time. Had a good day. Robyn a d Dad stayed home. Sunday 28 Church at Cooranga North. I lead and Alan preached. Lunch at Pips n Cherries Robyn packed and headed to Brisbane to help Nay for the week. Dad and I watch 2 more episodes of Clarkson Farm. Kate left Texas for Canary Island to rejoin the ship.  Monday 29 Very cold and southerly wind blowing. Worked at computer for the day. Finished EQ induction stuff. When for a ride around the farm in the afternoon. Goand sort Dad's payment which had been cancelled again.t the washing done.  Tuesday 30 Town today. Had to go to centre link to sort Dad's pension payment which had been cancelled again. Bank a cheque posted a letter went to Chemist and then lunch went to the mall to pick up glasses and get dog bones and then IGA for groceries. Got home and Darryl Ramsey came over. Ebony came out to stay for the night.  Wednesday 31 Ebony here today. She went for a ride on the quad and it stopped. We worked out it was a fuel problem.
