Week 4 21 - 27 April

Sunday 21 Today we went to church with Ben and Nay at the second Ipswich church that meets at the Goodna State School hall. Josh Mansfield attends here so we had a chance to catch up with him. Jason Buddem attend there too but I did not get a chance for more than a hello. After church we when back to Ben and Nays for lunch and then we headed home. It rained most of the way to Toowoomba. There was some water across the road between the Bun and Bell. There has been 3 inches at the farm. Zac and Lou and Cole and Robert came up to visit Dad while we were away. WSBK to watch. Remi Gardener scored his first podium in WSBK. We finish the day with the last episode of Murder in Provence.  Monday 22 Bit of a slow day today. We did the washing now it has stopped raining. Rang the tank repair man again. Really hope he can come this week. Dad and I took a drive around the farm. He needs me to go with him cause the gates are not all open. Week 3 14 - 20 April

Sunday 14 Quiet Sunday. Started watching COTA MotoGP sprint Jack came 7th and Viliales won from Marcus and Martin. Church at Cooranga North. Young fellow whose name I have to learn preached. Had a good yarn to Will Corbett after church. Talked with Alan and Peter the elders after church. They are keen to see what I will do. Asked me about joining session too. At the end we agreed I will preach on 28 June before we go to Bundaberg. At some time I will catchup when the interim moderator who us the minister in Kingaroy. When I have done this and we get back from Mackay we will catchup. After church we went to Pips n Cherries for lunch. When we got home we let the cows into the lane way to see if we can work out which cows belong to Dave and Zac's bull calves. No luck with that yet. Rest of the day sleeping and yarning. Week 2 7-13 April

Sunday 7 Church in Bell. Lunch at Peps n Cherries.  Ben fixed Meridys blocked stormwater. Anna fitted her replacement toilet. Talked to Bill C on the phone. They leave Mackay 15 April. Talked to Alan M and Peter L about preaching options. Probably do the 28 April.  Monday 8 Brought books upto date. Our Tassie trip cost 6k. Not to bad for a month away. That will be plus Spirit of Tassie fares and SBK tickets which I paid for some time ago. Rode the south west quarter of the farm to see how many cattle are there. Found a few. There is a lot of grass there. Mowed the yard around the old house. Talked to Anna about her home projects today. Robyn did all the washing. There was a full line with the last of the sheets. She cooked a roast for lunch and started making gingerly biscuits. Her knee is not good today. Spoke to Kim Dale and booked accomdation for CMS summerschool in 2025. Spoke to Ian Fanning on the phone about Accountant stuff too. Tuesday 9   Finished mowing the gras...

Week 1 1-7 April

 Ok it is not week one but it is a place to start.  Monday 1 was Easter Monday. Ben and Nay headed home. Robyn started the washing and clean up. Glen and Neil Waters came and camped in the gully. here until Friday Tuesday 2 neighbours came and cut the crop Wednesday 3 town -  Kingaroy and Meridy and the kids came up.  Thursday 4 - Mowed Pegs lawn and saw Matt and talked about his house plans. Rode WR450 of Glens  Friday 5 we donated blood in Toowoomba and when to Katrina and Nathans stayed the night Saturday 6 Day at Katrina and Nathans and came home to the farm Storm last night 20mm
