Week 65 22-28 July CRD57

Sunday 22 Preach at Cooranga North. Lunch at Pips n Cherries. Packed for desert dirt bike tour and Europe. Luggage for West trip needs to be 15kg with jacket in carryon it is 15.1 Monday 23 Went Toowoomba to donate blood and caught up with Logan. Brought new spark plugs for buggies. Robyn got a call to relief in Kumbia. In the afternoon I serviced and wash second buggy. Sorted out Doctors appointments for next couple of months and booked cattle in to sell tomorrow. My computer stopped working. Ben and I worked on it for a couple of hours and I will have to take it down to him to be rebuilt. It connecting to internet but could not access anything on it. Worked out how to use livestock transport app.  Tuesday 24 Separated steers and left them in the firing yard. Phil Northcot picked them up for Cross's and took them to Dalby. Week 64 15-21 June CRD53

Sunday 15 Our 40th Wedding Anniversary. Church in Bell, Alan preached. Liz played O Perfect Love one of our wedding hymns. Tracey made us a cake. Wendy and Trevor came to Church too. So did Peg. We all went to lunch at Pips n Cherries. Ben, Nay, Charlie, Lucy, Anna, Wendy and Trevor, Peg, Dad Robyn and I. Long amd lovely lunch. Ben and Nay headed home zfter lunch. When we got home all the cattle from the hill paddock where down in the mill paddock and the paddock behind the house. I manage to shut spear gate before any could go back. Went and checked the other place and the float on the trough was broken. Only 1/2 a tank of water left. Very good day. Very tried was on bed asleep by 8pm.  Monday 16 Another cold morning After breakfast Robyn and Anna headed for Brisbane via Toowoomba. Anna had a flight at 5pm. Week 63 8-14 June CRD49

Sunday 8 Church at Cooranga North and lunch at Pips n Cherries. Nap and a yarn to Ben. Then a ride around the farm. To check cattle ones up the back still there. Now with a new born calf. Watched MotoGP. Monday 9 To Toowoomba to donate blood. Pick up some Motocoss boot a brought on market place. Brought some adventure pants and new ryobi batteries. Home for lunch. Checked all the fences and then went to Cooranga North.  Lachy and Carmille have poured the stumps. Robyn did the washing today.  Tuesday 10 Bell today a relief day. The person doing the other half of my contract does not appear to be showing up. Dad was not well so Robyn went to Kingaroy on her own shopped and came home for lunch. We checked the cattle and Boxers steer had come through so set things so it might come into the yard paddock. Two other were in the Bull paddock but an attempt to bring them through quickly resulted in them going through two fences and up the back. Found a cow and a calf in the front hill ...

Week 62 1-7 June CRD45

Sunday 1 Church in Bell. Pips n Cherries for lunch home for a nap. Solid effort on UK trip. Break to check water at the other place. Day done.  Monday 2 Completed bookwork and paid bills. Pumped out septic and washed Ex1 made a plan to mount driving lights. Washed the ute and loaded and took Ex2 to yarraman to have values checked. Robyn cooked biscuits and washed. Bit showery at times today. Crop is up.  Got a call from Jess today to let me know that there had been two suicides in the MCC community over the weekend. A father - Ella Duncan's dad and Jake Wheelan a student in Year 12. Ella is in Year 12 too. Going to be a tough week there.  Tuesday 3 Dad went to Foot doctor in Bell first up. I stayed home with a plan to change oil in dads buggy. I need to watch the how video and then i got a call from Matt Gilbank. Then we went to Kingaroy. Visited Coppards and I got another school shirt and a pair of work shorts. We had lunch at the Cafe at Mitre10. Good change. Saw Marge ...
