Farm life 2024

Sunday 21 Went to Church in Mackay. Chris preached. It was nice to catchup with people. Spent some time with Jade Bounden speaking about the value of Wise Cards. She is planning to go the work at US summer camps next year. Saw Ella too. Had a good chat to Chris mainly about renting Sunita. Did not see Steven. Chatted to Luke too and Emma. Tiann gave me Andre's tile cutter to do Anna's floor. On the afternoon I went to Mt P taven and watched Bulldogs Penrith game with Affie. Nice day.  Monday 22 Jack hammered up floor tiles and relaid the centre. Luke came and we made a power plan. Robyn and I went to dinner with Ian Fanning. Good days work. Nice night out.  Tuesday 23 Cut and lay the remaining tiles. Went to Dapplewood and blew the roof off and cleaned up leaves. Will need to go back to finish up. Sunday 14  Preached  at Cooranga North. Then lunch at Pips n Cherries. Home for an afternoon nap. Found the calf next to the old tank at the other place. We loaded it up and took it to the O'Brien girls to raise. Watched MotoGP.  Monday 15 Robyn went to Dalby CC for year 6 and I went to Jandowae for Year 6. We both had pretty good days. Dad and I took a drive up the up the back into Green Grove. There is still good grass up there. The weaners will be right for a few more weeks.  Tuesday 16 Dad had a doctors appointment in Toowoomba with Dr Rafter. Robyn and I took him down. We met Ian who took him to the appointment. Robyn shopped for food and I donated blood. Pretty big day in the end. We all meet at Abbey Cottage Cafe for lunch.  Wednesday 17 Rode Anna's bike to work in Jandowae. Another day with Year 6. Robyn did her day in Bell. When I got home I worked on the bike lights. It took longer than it should have but now have the wiring basically done. Got a call ...

Sunday 7 Church in Bell, Robyn lead singing and I lead service. We had Communion. After lunch at Pips n Cherries with Jenny-Lee and Bruce. They came home and packed and returned to Bundy. They head on to Ayr on Tuesday. I put Anna's bike sump guard on and attempted to repair her indicator. See how it goes. I got Explorer 1 out of the shed and it had a flat battery. So I charges it. Sorted books and watch MotoGP. Had vales from Ben and Anna and Kate. Went to bed feeling a bit off. Too many Choc Almonds.  Monday 8 Relief Dalby CC then of to Ben and Nay's to go to Charlie's excursion tomorrow all good til at about 6 front tyre went flat. Seemed to split in the tread. I was at Blacksoil and RACQ arrived about 8.30pm and took bike to Meridy's. Pulled the front wheel off. Matt will take it to the tyre shop tomorrow. Got to bed before 11pm. Sunday 31 When to church in Kingaroy. Keith and Elsbeth Campbell were guests. Came home and picked up Dad and went for lunch at Pips n Cherries. Annette had a cupboard door for me to sort out. It had a broken hinge. Came home and washed Anna's bike and the ute. Robyn vacuumed the van out. Loaded Anna's bike to take to bike shop tomorrow. Monday 1 Big day. Went to Yarraman drop bike off then to Katrina's to check on bathroom progress. Then lunch with Logan and Deanne and Shelby. Then I went to Blood Bank and Robyn went to Hand therapy. Next to Bunnings to pick up Anna's flat pack kitchen and then home again. We got back about 7pm. I got the hinges for Annette's door too.  Tuesday 2 Robyn worked at Dalby CC today. Dad had a doctors appointment so he and I went to Dalby. We had lunch and came home. Sunday 24 I preached at Cooranga North today. We went to Pips n Cherries after then home. Afternoon nap and watched MotoGP Sprint. Dalby CC asked me to work tomorrow. I agreed and then Jandowae ask too. Stayed up and watch MotoGP anyway.  Monday 25 Worked at Dalby CC older classes of well behaved kids not hard. Even year 8 Biblcal Studies was pretty good. Dad had a doctors appointment about a skin spot on his nose. He and Robyn were home by 12.45pm and Robyn got the wash done.  Tuesday 26 Early morning call from Dalby CC to teach year 2. Robyn went in. Dad and I went to town. We got some decking oil for Matt and took it out. It took 2hrs to get home. Did not see Matt he was fighting fires. I did get my jumper and glasses I left there last week. Robyn was home by the time we got back.  Wednesday 27 Started by spending sometime sorting out our plans for the time from now to motoGP.
