Week 78 21-27 Sept CRD77 Mackay

Sunday 21
Went to Church in Mackay. Chris preached. It was nice to catchup with people. Spent some time with Jade Bounden speaking about the value of Wise Cards. She is planning to go the work at US summer camps next year. Saw Ella too. Had a good chat to Chris mainly about renting Sunita. Did not see Steven. Chatted to Luke too and Emma. Tiann gave me Andre's tile cutter to do Anna's floor. On the afternoon I went to Mt P taven and watched Bulldogs Penrith game with Affie. Nice day. 
Monday 22
Jack hammered up floor tiles and relaid the centre. Luke came and we made a power plan. Robyn and I went to dinner with Ian Fanning. Good days work. Nice night out. 
Tuesday 23
Cut and lay the remaining tiles. Went to Dapplewood and blew the roof off and cleaned up leaves. Will need to go back to finish up. Back to Anna's showered and out to tea with Lynn at Hot Wok. 
Wednesday 24
Took ute in to be serviced today well over due. Assemblied kitchen kit today. Mowed Anna's yard and dumped green waste amd tiles before picking up tool for Peter Lloyd. Nice to have a yarn. Went out to dinner with Belinda. She was a little anxious because we had invited her to dinner on her own. Just wanted to invest and value her a little. She had been address by Lesley about a post she had made in the My People private group. She was thinking I wanted to do the same. Disappointing behaviour from Lesley but not surprising. Think someone in the group naively shared it with Lesley thinking it would help. Clearly not. 
Thursday 25
Finished yard at Dapplewood and fitted new insinkerator. Dropped barrow and shovel back and picked up sheeting from Bunnings. Then had a break doing coffee with Steven and Alan and then catching up with Mark Dreghorn. Steven in particular is really stuck on the Troy thing and to be fair Troy is not making things better for himself. Not sure where it will go really. Not that happy about my plan to rent to the church but ut seems mainly that he wants Troy to live in the manse. Not something he want or really can do. Also expressed concern about the churches ability to pay. Time will tell. Mark was in a good place
 He has brought himself a dog and is setting the house up particularly underneath to make it his favourite space. Looking forward to celebrating 70 next October. Booked us in to come. 
Back at Anna's we got the sheeting up and the power supply in before dinner at Christabell and Andy's another nice night out. Hope we were an encouragement to them. When we got home Amna was setup to grout so she and Robyn did that until they ran out of grout. We need another bag. Yes should have got the big one. 
Friday 26
Installed kitchen and sink top cupboards and doors. Finished grout. Fitted splash back. Then out to Mt Jukes for pizza dinner. Lovely night. Caught up with Freda, Sylvia and her girls, Jess and the twins and her daughter inlaw, Nikki, Bernadette and Anna came too. 
Saturday 27
Finished off the kitchen today. Built pantry and fitted. Kickboards, drawer fronts, mouldings and put doors back on. Robyn gerneryed the deck roof. We returned all the borrowed gear to Affie and Peter L and then went to the Andergrove Taven for dinner.

Week 68 13 - 20 July CRD 57 Wk2 Europe.

Sunday 13 Last day of Super Bikes. Better day for Aussies Talya came 7th and Tara 20th WCR and Remi 9th in SBK and Ollie Baylass 13th . His team mate came second again. Met a bloke who was a Jack Miller fan and we yarned between races.  Robyn and Kate had a great day and went to visit Chatsworth House the inspiration for Jane Austin's Pemberly House in Pride and Prejudice. Came back to accomdation at Hartshorne and they were having a Pizza night with live music. Small group about 30 people good fun and good evening. We got out washing done too.  Monday 14 Dried our washing and then headed to York. Thought we would take the non motorway roads but it was not fun just congestion. So we M1ed it. York was amazing. Old buildings very close together. Could spend ages there. We then went open to Thirsk for the night. Visited the Yorkshire Vet building. James Heriot centre was shut. Week 83 26 Oct - 1 Nov CRD84

Sunday 26 Church at Cooranga North. I lead and Allan preached. Then lunch at Pips n Cherries. Robyn got ready to go on calenders trip with Wendy and Maddie I watched some Supercars .Robyn left about 3pm. I adjusted the chain on to 500 before we had a storm. Bit of noise but not much rain for us. Dad and I watched a Clarksons farm before bed.  Monday 27 Relief at Dalby CC today. Cover Exam super and then I cover two year 8 math classes. Robyn had an eventful day on her bike ride. First one of the group fell over while getting the bikes out of the room and and damaged her wrist. Robyn had a dizzy spell after exerting herself moving a tree off the track and Wendy came a cropper when she spotted a snake going through a gateway. They are back in Esk tonight. It was a hot day today with a hot wind. Predicting rain tomorrow. I put on  slow cooker when I came home so we have lunches this week.  Tuesday 28 Dalby CC today. English and Vis Arts exams. Week 69 20-27 July CRD57 W3 Europe

Sunday 20 Started the day with a visit to Kelpies on the North East of Falkirk. These huge art installation of two houses heads represent images of the Scottish mythical beast the Kelpie a water creature that looks like a horse. Very impressive. More driving in the beautiful Scottish countryside to our breakfast spot Tinto Hills Tearooms near Thankerton. Here I met a motorcyclist enjoying a ride and a Sunday morning coffee. Really think I need to come back and ride here. Next we visited Hadrain's wall or the ruins of part of it. It was the Romans Defence line across English to keep the Scots out. Originally 4 metres high what we saw was part of the foundations. The view of the English countryside was picturebook idyllic. Next we went to Lockerbie to see and reflect on the event of the Lockerbie bombing where a bombed PanAm jet literally fell out of the sky in 1988. The site were three houses were destroyed and 11 people on the ground killed is now a reflective garden. The momentum ...
