Week 43 19 - 25 January

Sunday 19 Preached in Bell today. Last in Healthy Church Soil series. Healthy Correction. Came home and Ian and Jayne dropped in. They had been at Sue and Greg's for another of Greg's band gigs. Had a nap and a long yarn with Kate and started our travel planning. Watched a couple more Annikia. Had some texting with Steven as I encouraged him that the book Troy was proposing would be OK. Need to pray for that.  Monday 20 Up early and rode Repperren's Thunderbird back to Yarraman. From there we rang Team Moto in Maroochydore to see if they had sold the 2012 Explorer. They had a contract but no deposit. After discussion at their end they decided to sell it to me for 10620 ride away. We went rode it and picked it up and brought it home. That was our day done.  Tuesday 21 Ian came up and took Dad to sleep specialist in Toowoomba. Robyn and I went to Kingaroy to shop. Had lunch with Neville Wenham. Week 42 12 - 18 January

Sunday 12 Adam preached at Cooranga North. People yarned for a long time after to nearly 12.30. Came home had lunch with Dad and a nap then drove to Brisbane to pick up Robyn. Rained at the airport which was a little annoying. We got home just after 10pm. Very nice to have Robyn home.  Monday 13 Washing done. Aaron and Debbie Watson came to visit and dropped off the pipes for my bike. After lunch we went to Peg's and picked up Nala and installed her Starlink. It works but I am not happy with the install. Will work on that again. Saw Matt and he has had covid but he does have his trusses up. Still needs to strap and finish verandah rooves. Offered to go back next week.  Tuesday 14 On Sunday night Sue and Greg had their house damaged in a storm that went through Kingaroy. Ian came up to give them a generator. It was town day and I booked the car in for new tyres and a wheel alignment. We meet Ian at the tyre place and then we did the shopping and had lunch in the mall. Robyn too...

Week 41 5 - 11 January

Sunday 5 Went to CMS for next Bible talk. Key message no one will miss christs return. Amy Cassidy now marriage came and spoke to us. Good to see her. Back for lunch and the end of the cricket. Aussies won by 6 wicket. Afternoon nap. Silverside for dinner. Phil and I went back to hear evening speaker talk speak from Genesis 11. He compared it to Acts 2. Reflecting on language and the gospel. Relaxing day.  Monday 6 Another relaxing day. Summer School in the morning and back after lunchvto hear from Willoam Taylor about the challenges for Evangelicals in the Church of England. He had a good reminder that Christ will build his church. Met Ian and Leticia Bailey- Mortimer today. Great to see them again.  Tuesday 7 Again we started with CMS. Today we yarned with Fiona Miller. After lunch we went to visit Dave and Michelle and Zach was there. We did not go to the night program but we all went out to tea at St Bernard's and Kim and Sandi came with us. Very nice night. Week 40 29 Dec - 4 Jan

Sunday 29 No church today. Ian went into Dalby. People started to showup for the muster. Nick and Van came first. Jayne arrived after lunch and James, Sam, Bowie, and Belle arrive in the evening. Ian's friend, Ash and a family friend who thinks she would like to work in cattle industry Monique came too. I set the gates and checked but cattle are right over to Jimbour Creek.  Monday 30 We got all the cattle in before breakfast and dropped out a bull. We had Jack, Nick, James and Ash on quads. Ian and Monique in the buggy and I rode the TTR. Process the calves 62 and treated 3 pink eye. 2 retreats and one new one. We were done by 11.30am new record. After lunch James and Sam and Jack and Izzy went home and Trudy and Ebony showed up.. Robyn, Nic and I put the market cattle out in of the bull paddock.
