Week 41 5 - 11 January

Sunday 5
Went to CMS for next Bible talk. Key message no one will miss christs return. Amy Cassidy now marriage came and spoke to us. Good to see her. Back for lunch and the end of the cricket. Aussies won by 6 wicket. Afternoon nap. Silverside for dinner. Phil and I went back to hear evening speaker talk speak from Genesis 11. He compared it to Acts 2. Reflecting on language and the gospel. Relaxing day.
Monday 6
Another relaxing day. Summer School in the morning and back after lunchvto hear from Willoam Taylor about the challenges for Evangelicals in the Church of England. He had a good reminder that Christ will build his church. Met Ian and Leticia Bailey- Mortimer today. Great to see them again.
Tuesday 7
Again we started with CMS. Today we yarned with Fiona Miller. After lunch we went to visit Dave and Michelle and Zach was there. We did not go to the night program but we all went out to tea at St Bernard's and Kim and Sandi came with us. Very nice night. Kim worked out that he had over charged us 300 dollars thus meant that we owed the others 100 each. We paid for dinner that was 60 of it.
Wednesday 8
I got the bike out early this morning and rode to Outpost Cafe again for a coffee. Bike felt great but smelt and sounded bad. Will need to get pipes fixed. Last day at CMS. Phil and Sarah left from there. We returned to the house and had a quiet afternoon with Alan and Judy. Amy and John Moorhouse and the kids came to visit Kim and Sandi and us too. Think we may have a bit to do with them moving forward.
Thursday 9
Packed up and said our goodbyes and headed to Ben and Nays. Dropped Robyn there and went and got service kit for Meridys mower. Came back and took Robyn to the airport to fly to Mackay to help Anna with her retreat. Then went and serviced the mower and pulled out Meridys old dishwasher and started to install the new one. Will need to get Ben to help me with the hoses tomorrow. Staying at Ben and Nay's tonight.
Friday 10
Ben and I went to Meridy's and finish installing the dishwasher. We loaded the old one and a couple of days beds and took them to the dump. I went back and mowed the backyard and emptied pool basket. Headed for the farm about 11am. Stopped in Toowoomba for regulator for the buggy and parts for the mower. Weather looked really stormy lots of thunder and lighting. That said trip home had a couple of downpours but nothing really bad. Was drizzling at home into the evening so I did nothing more than unload the ute.
Saturday 11
Gave Noel a hand mowing the church yard then came home and mowed the grass here between showers and storms. In three attempts I got it done. Rode around the weaner paddock to finish day.
