Week 91 21-27 December

Sunday 21 Checked over farm. Micheal has planted most of his cultivation will do his today and hopefully outs too. Church in Bell. Home for lunch and a nap. Robyn and I took the post hole digger off the tractor and brought up a container to put millet in when we sort the container. Went into the Carol service in Bell. It was at the Catholic church this year.  Monday 22 Started work on the cover at the front of the house pretty hot day today. We basically removed the current trap and the bent pipe work and we removed the gardens of red hot poker cactus. In the afternoon Meridy arrived snd I took a run into Kingaroy to pick up some repeats on Dad's medication. Sadly Dad's doctor rang to cancel his appointment because she was sick. Trough in lane near the mill was running over this morning. Fixed it this afternoon. Anna got away from Mackay late this afternoon. Peg is not well. Wendy took her to Dalby Hospital where after several hours she was admitted. When they packed they left ...

Week 90 14-20 Dec

Sunday 14 Church at Cooranga North. Adam preached. Pips n Cherries for lunch. Home for afternoon nap. Dragged a dead calf away from down amount the cull cows. Checked the blades on the mower and loaded the ute ready for tomorrow's trip to Toowoomba and Dalby.  Monday 15 Left early to go to Toowoomba to donate blood. Then Christmas shopping. Picked up a double/single bunk bed with mattresses too. Home just before 5pm. Sorted mower blades and changed guard. Did not go to Dalby. Will do that tomorrow.  Tuesday 16 Had 50mm rain last night. Started the day with a trip to Dalby to pick Quad the Uncle Chris had repaired, drop off ram from post hole digger, get some stuff from Bunnings to secure trap on the front of the house and get fuel. Back home then off to Kingaroy. Bits to setup fire pump to see if it will work better at pumping water to high tank, lunch at Mitre 10 with Elise and Jenny. Dad's friends from Lee's kitchen days. Week 89 7 - 13 Oct CRD98

Sunday 7 Day started with high drama. Kate has lost her phone. Fell out of her pocket and someone picked it up. She can see were it is. She called the police and they have not had the time to go look. Clearly she is distressed and so am I. We went to church in Bell then lunch at Pips n Cherries. Home for an afternoon nap. Watch cricket till 4pm.a day night match and Aussie are in control over England. Robyn and I went and fitted the post hole digger to the tractor to find the ram that lifts it up and down does not work. Watched Australia win the 2nd test in Brisbane on Day4. Micheal and his Dad have been going hard today preping country to plant. Hoping for a storm tonight.  Monday 8 Went to Jandowae. Good workshop but no demo jobs or plans at all. Good to catchup with JB. Came home. Tank behind top house is full now pumping to other place. Took the ram off the post hole digger. After lunch we went to Peg's to finish tank and collect my wallet. Week 88 30 Nov -6 Dec CRD98

Sunday 30 Bill and I went out and hooked up trough and then fixed fence near double gate into middle back paddock. Back for morning tea. Watched Top 10 shoot out in Supercars then lunch at Pips n Cherries. Bill and Judy went home from there. I watched start of last Supercars race for 2025 and pack and we headed to Ben and Nay's. Stopped in at Meridy's on the way for tea and helped Ben with some jobs there. Matt was prepong to go camping at Somerset. Got to Ben and Nay's about 8.30pm Monday 1 Repaired Ben and Nay's roof. It was leaking around a solar vent fan that had been poorly installed. Removed it and flashed it properly. We had it done for lunch and left after lunch dropped Kate's Christmas Gift to someone on Mitchelton then headed to Blood Bank on Toowoomba for 4pm appointment. Got home about 7.45pm.  Tuesday 2 Did the bookwork this morning and met with Anna in her finance meeting. Came away from it a little distressed as we faced some of the difficult challeng...
