Sunday 17 Preached in Bell today from Genesis 1 Where did we come from. After church I went back to the trail ride and rode the Sunday loop. It was about 12pm before I got on the track and it was good because most people had ridden and gone home. I rode Josh Smith's bike which is the same as Ian's but newer. It had much better suspension but the motor and gearing was harder the live with. Suspension and bar risers for next year and maybe new tyres. Came home to a quiet afternoon. I stayed up and watched MotoGP in Austria. Yamaha's went really bad. But the Aprilla podium again.  Monday 18 Got a call from Dalby CC primary PE. Robyn took it. Zac and Lou packed up and went home about 11.30. I cut dome firewood for Meridy for them to drop off on there way. I worked on book work and went up the back and cut a strainer post from the tree over the fence and dragged it back to where I need it. Robyn amd I had our Healthy Church team meeting tonight. Sunday 10 We drove from Valencia to Madrid. Stayed at a Ibis again good food but the AC did not work. We should have  complained soon cause city could be fix remotely.  Monday 11 Slow morning and thennw went across to the airport and dropped off the car. We got the same bloke we picked the car up from at drop off. Everything else when smooth too. Flight to to Dubui was pretty full but we had spare seat beside us. Which was good.  Tuesday 12 Flight was an hour late leaving Dubui. We got into Brisbane at 11.20pm Ben picked us up. We were in bed about 1am at Ben and Nays Wednesday 13 Woke about 6am. I went and had my chest xray to check my rib. We went around and had a look at the house Ben and Nay are buying in Brookwater. Sunday 3 After brekky we went to a point opposite where Kate would sail out and enjoyed a leisurely lunch at the cliff top restaurants while we waited. Afterwards, we headed back to our cabin for a while before going to a bilingual church, at 7pm,  which was great. We head for Portugal tomorrow. Monday 4 Packed up and after breakfast we start our journey to Portugual. Basically drove the superhighways again through undulating too hilly country. Every now and then it would open up into some amazing vistas. Stopped a couple of times. Tried to work out toll roads. We registered for them just in case. We will continue to tick the no toll roads box. There were electronic check points we went through but no prices on the signs. Not sure. Hard when you cannot read the signs. We got to Autodromo do Algarve. What MotoGP calls Portimoa circuit. Track was not open today but we drove right around the outside. Sunday 27 Today we visited Ghent in Belgium. They were on the last day of a 10 day festival. Things were getting pretty messy. Sure the city is usually cleaner than we saw it. We did a river boat ride. Lots of history and stories. Belguim used to be a Spanish colony as such it attempted the kill all the properties many fled to Netherlands. Belguim is pretty flat and has a network of canals used to transport trade. Ghent grew as a hub of this trade. Now it is a really tourist place. We found thank you Kate a little back street restaurant for breakfast. It was empty when we arrived but quickly filled. After boat ride and wandering around we headed for Brussels airport to return the car. From here we caught the train into Brussels from there to a tram which was really a suburban train and then a walk to our accomdation. A unit on third floor in street in North part of inner city.
