Week 72 10-16 August CRD57 Europe End

Sunday 10
We drove from Valencia to Madrid. Stayed at a Ibis again good food but the AC did not work. We should have  complained soon cause city could be fix remotely.
Monday 11
Slow morning and thennw went across to the airport and dropped off the car. We got the same bloke we picked the car up from at drop off. Everything else when smooth too. Flight to to Dubui was pretty full but we had spare seat beside us. Which was good.
Tuesday 12
Flight was an hour late leaving Dubui. We got into Brisbane at 11.20pm Ben picked us up. We were in bed about 1am at Ben and Nays
Wednesday 13
Woke about 6am. I went and had my chest xray to check my rib. We went around and had a look at the house Ben and Nay are buying in Brookwater. Next we went to Toowoomba so Robyn could see hand therapist and then to Wendy's fir a nap before going to the Goes Wrong Show.
Very good performance lots of laughs.
Thursday 14
After breakfast and a look around at Wendy and Trevor's we headed home just in time to go back to Bell for lunch with Ian and Dad. Came home and had a nap. Lots of yarning about our trip with everyone. One more nights sleep and I think we will be back to normal. Colder here than we have been in the last month.
Friday 15
Washing today. Sorted out the photos from Desert Dirtbike adventure. I did some book work but could not get into it. Sorted out the TTR ready for ride tomorrow and loaded it on the ute and got my riding gear sorted.  Zac's mate Craig showed up late and camped up the hill.
Saturday 16
Went out to do the Bell Bunya Trail Ride. Took a bit of getting back into it but after 10k I was good. Rode right up to wind towers in Cooranga Nth from Sperling's 50k loop. Couple of straight downhill and some real stony stuff.  Once around was enough for today. I left the bike with Greg and Amy Elkin who were camping at the track. Zac and Lou came to stay with the kids. I came home about 2pm. I when for a ride around the farm on the Quad. Found 3 calves born in the weaner paddock and one dead heifer. Cattle appear to have been over most of the container paddock. Still a good body of grass but I reckon we are eating it faster than it us growing accross the whole farm. Also concerned about grow rates as all the tagged stock is now 8 mths old there is some small small amoung them.
