Farm life 2024

Sunday 22 Josh and his friends head home about breakfast. Paul and Jill came to Church with us at Cooranga North. I preached on Group Identity in my Healthy Soil from strong churches. There were 29 all up at church. Katrina and the boys and Peg and Joan were there. We when to lunch at Pips n Cherries. From there Paul and Jill headed home. We came home had a nap and caught up on Motorcycle racing WSBK and MotoGP. Robyn and I had a go at chasing cattle out of the paddock behind the piggery about another 20 head in there but no luck this time. Watched a Clarkson Farm and WMWC race in which Tayla Relph came 3rd quite exciting. Watch MotoGp and WSBK sprint before bed.  Monday 23 Washing Robyn when up and did a thorough job of bring the cattle out to the paddock behind the piggery. There was a section of fence themst had no tie wire on it but it was still up. We figured they must be getting theough there. Sunday 15 Went to church with Barclie and Jennette. Then to lunch on our way to Rottnest Island. The island would be nice for a longer stay like a couple of days. Lots of Quokas. We had dinner at a place called the dome on our way home.  Monday 16 Gallograys went off to work. Robyn was feeling a bit fluey so I went to JCS Motorcycles people I often buy mail order bike bits from. On the afternoon I hired a mower and whipper-snipper and mowed the grass. After a dinner of left overs Barclie and Jennette took us to the airport. Flight left Perth at 10.55 and arrived back in Beisbane at 5.30am. Tuesday 17 We landed in Brisbane about 5.15am. Had maybe 2 hrs sleep. Train to Meridy for breakfast then to Ben and Nay's in the ute. Picked up new bike tyre on the way. Robyn did her teleconference there while I got another hours sleep. Sunday 8 Really sick last night. Stayed in bed today. Robyn and Dad went to church. Adam preached. Dad said he could hear him. They went to Pips n Cherries for lunch. The bull, a heifer and the neighbours baldy steer were in the dam paddock. Robyn put them back up the back. Robyn had a long yarn either Kate who is a little unsure of what the future might be at mercy ships after this season. Rang Janelle to tell her I could not do relief on Monday and Tuesday.  Monday 9 Started the day watching the last of the MotoGP. Interesting flag to flag race with splash of rain that started and stopped. Feeling much better today. Robyn cooked a fish meal tuna for lunch today and it was very good. Still had an afternoon nap and then Dad and I went for a drive to open all the gates we could before Glen and Neil and families show up on on the weekend. Sunday 1 Father's Day Had a nice long calls with Kate and Ben and Anna. Robyn gave me some nuts and bolts from the markets yesterday and a bottle of fruit and nut chocolates. Went to church in Bell. Trevor preached. Came home for lunch and a nap. Later Robyn and I went outvin the buggy to check the door for mailbox and then up to clean some trees from the path through the bull paddock.  Monday 2 Relief DCC. Had a double music for year 7 which was a bit of an endurance as I had really could not help just keep it safe. Felt today I should have had off. Just feeling a little weary. Worth thinking that through sometime. Gas ran out and we had not put on the new bottle. Not sure how long the last bottle ran. Dad changed it and I relit the polit light when I got home. Need to show Robyn. Robyn made a great lunch based on pork mince and Hello Fresh recipe. Went to Bible Study in the afternoon.
