Week 35 24-30 November

Sunday 24 Breakfast at the Bakery with Ian and Jayne. Dan West joined us and did Jimmy, Rebecca and Theo. To church next and then on to Ben and Nays. Had lunch loaded the bike on the ute and had Sunday Sundaes before heading home. Got back about 6 unloaded everything had a catchup with Dad before heading to bed. Good day.  Monday 25 Did mouse baits Relief in Jandowae. Bit of a chaotic day as year 10s have finished and rest of the highschool thinks they should be too. Have a kid refuse to return to the room so I had to let it go to the keeper see how she responds on Friday when I have them again. Robyn and Dad went to town cause tomorrow Dad has a foot doctor appointment in Bell tomorrow. Came home and put the wheel in the disc harrows and attempted to hook up the tillers.  After this we hung clothes on the line and went to Pegs to pickup Nala. Bill, Julie and Matthew were there. Week 34 17- 23 November

Sunday 17 Lucy had another party today. She went about 10am Ben worked on updating our laptops removing them from the school network. Ben and I we t for a drive to Bunnings and to get some lunch stuff. Nay and Lucy got home about the same time Lunch was ready. After lunch we had Icecream Sundays. We packed up and went to Meridy's she wanted me to look at where her roof leaked in the kitchen. After a chat and a couple of jobs we headed home to the farm arriving about 7pm. Good to be home.  Monday 18 Unpacked. Sorted lunch.  Went with Dad to check water and turned on pump to fill tank above dairy will do other place next. Pruned hibiscus in gardens around the house and trimed hedge on east side of the house. After lunch picked up trimmings and started to mow. Had some time off to go down to Harry's and watch next blast. Came home and completed most of the mowing need do the bit round the bottle tree and the cars at the top house. Week 33 10- 16 November

Sunday 10 We got up and packed our gear for the coming week and loaded the ute with our bags, bike wheel stand and ramps, recycling bottles and tyre for the old ute and one for the disc harrows. Put in Nala and her bed and food too. Went to church at Cooranga North. The youngest O'Brien girl were there. In fact there were 26 people in Church. Adam preached and Peter announced they got 40000 to restump the church. It was a nice time and a joy to be together. After a cuppa we took Nala to Peg's and after a quick stop we headed for Mackay left about 12.07 and arrived at 9.38. Toilet break in Eidsvold, Fod in Biloela, fuel in Rocky and food in Carmilla. Pretty much Google Maps time. Good to see Anna.  Monday 11 Breakfast with Anna, took a coffee to Nikki and went over to the house place looks great but roof needs a clean off. Checked the shed and collected tyres. Went up to the TTC then to change tyres. Took a bit to find all the gear. Michelle made me lunch from TTC BBQ leftovers....

Week 32 3 - 9 Nov

Sunday 3 Church in Bell. Trevor preached. Went to Pips n Cherries for lunch and Judy Sorley was there. Great to catchup. She lives in Sydney has a husband and three children boy, girl, boy. Went on from teaching to do psychology. Worked as a school counsellor. Need to send her a copy of Loving your students on purpose. Came home and watched motoGP. Checked troughs and all full none running over.  Monday 4 Washed bike and the ute and took bike to Yarraman to have valve clearances checked. Dad came with me. We went through Alice Creek on the way there and back through Maidenwell on the way home. Had lunch at Bunya Mountains tavern. Spent the afternoon putting gravel around the trough above the dairy and the one at the mill. That should be trough work done for awhile. Robyn went to Bible Study in Bell. Week 31 27 Oct - 2 Nov

Sunday 27 Lead at Church at Cooranga North. Communion Sunday. Trevor preached. Lunch at Pips n Cherries then home to watch MotoGP and Supercars on Gold Coast. Monday 28 Today was Peter Klein's funeral in Kingaroy. It was a good celebration of his life. Ian came up as well. Dad got a mention in the uleugy about which he was chuffed. There was about 140 people there and we when to the RSL after and had lunch and a yarn. Robyn was busy meeting all the Jandowae people she had taught they kids or knew her mum. She also caught up with the Alan boys part of a family of boys who attended dances with their family of girls and made great dance partners. Dad was delighted to see Jill Peter's sister. Dad and her did a ballet demonstration as kids at Cooranga North. Jill remembered it like dad did. She is in a wheel chair now but he was impressed with how bright she was. After this we did our shopping and came home. I use the fire pump and the pool hose I had brought to clean out the trough...
