Monday 25
Did mouse baits Relief in Jandowae. Bit of a chaotic day as year 10s have finished and rest of the highschool thinks they should be too. Have a kid refuse to return to the room so I had to let it go to the keeper see how she responds on Friday when I have them again. Robyn and Dad went to town cause tomorrow Dad has a foot doctor appointment in Bell tomorrow. Came home and put the wheel in the disc harrows and attempted to hook up the tillers. After this we hung clothes on the line and went to Pegs to pickup Nala. Bill, Julie and Matthew were there. Good to catchup.
Tuesday 26
Headed to Stanthope just after 4am to catch up with Peter Evans for breakfast. Good to have a yarn about SRG and Healthy Churches. Came back to Warwick for lunch and then to Toowoomba to donate blood home just after 6pm. Rode the 500. Went well it did about 600 ks all up. Robyn work on house stuff. Changing sheets and washing etc. Two of the gravel truck rolled today one over at Jingie and the other in Downfall Creek the Jingie driver was killed. His truck hit a tree. Sad day. Might check on Harry tomorrow.
Wednesday 27
Bit worn after yesterday and little overwhelmed by things that need to be done. Started the day on fences. Closed the fence at the top of the bull paddock and check the fence around it for the weaners when we start cattle work. Added some posts to the fence near the top house where the cattle have been jumping into the house yard. Fix the lane way fence beside the road and repaired and replace fence that was broken on the way to the other place. Then we discovered the trough at the other place mill running over. Looks like the ball tap has collasped. That put a spanner in our day. After lunch I had a nap which I think I need and then mowed the grass. Finished the day setting up the tillers on the tractor and started ploughing the paddock. I will get dad to check it tomorrow.
Thursday 28
Worked on the trough and tank at the other place. Pull the tap off the tank and the ball tap out of the trough. Came home and rang Southern Phones. Now have an appointment to fix it on Saturday. We will see. Ploughed the paddock beside the house. When to Kingaroy to get trough parts and hydraulic oil and coach bolts for a gate we need to fix. When we got home we fixed the gate and the tank and trough.Think that leaves the fences ready to muster. Rang Micheal next door and he does want to use cultivation planning to plant bailey coming into winter. Talked to Ian about it.
