Week 47 16-22 Feb

Sunday 16 Church in Bell this morning. Stuart preached and run Child Safe training after morning tea. I attended as a backup for Liz as she plans youth group leadership. We were late for church as we chased a calf out of the bull paddock. Dad and Robyn went to lunch at Pips n Cherries. It was about 3pm by the time I got home so I went to work on the bike. Setup gps which fitted on the bracket that came with the bike. Removed headlight and fitting LED bulbs and changed the oil and filter. Robyn then pulled the lounge apart to find the rat. We did and we relocated him permanently. Nala was a good help. Sniffing out where it was. Finish the day bringing in the washing which Robyn had got done before church. Very happy about the rat.  Monday 17 Checked LED lights last night and one was not right so I had to pull the head light assembly out again. Did that and fixed it. Put it back un this morning and washed Explorer 1 and 2 and the Honda. Put the bikes in the shed and covered them. Put...

We towed it out of the paddock and it ran over our tractor and got tied up. It then took the rest of the afternoon to solve this problem. Bigger day than expected. Did notice more steers had come down the front so we locked gates up the back and plan to get them in tomorrow.  Monday 10 Got an early text from Dalby CC and headed in to do day 3 of relief. First day at DCC for the year. Put a hole in our cattle plans. Good day. Came home the same time Robyn went to Bible Study. Took a ride around the cattle and pumped out the septic tank and did a bit of work on my bike adjusting the suspension. Looked at the steering head no plan yet. Tuesday 11 Got cattle in this m...

After a nap we went to Kingaroy for Andrew Clausen's induction. Kingaroy has become a calling charge for duration tine since union in 1977. Testimony to God's faithfulness. Pumped water last night and today. All tanks are full now. Opened gates to allow cattle down the front plan is to see if we can get the steers back. Time will tell.  Monday 2 Bit of a drizzle day. Spent most of it in the office. Sorted email. Paid bills. Completed DCC induction training. Produced Budget and did books to the end of January. Sorted tithing too. Had a sleep.
