Week 34 17- 23 November

Sunday 17
Lucy had another party today. She went about 10am Ben worked on updating our laptops removing them from the school network. Ben and I we t for a drive to Bunnings and to get some lunch stuff. Nay and Lucy got home about the same time Lunch was ready. After lunch we had Icecream Sundays. We packed up and went to Meridy's she wanted me to look at where her roof leaked in the kitchen. After a chat and a couple of jobs we headed home to the farm arriving about 7pm. Good to be home. 
Monday 18
Unpacked. Sorted lunch.  Went with Dad to check water and turned on pump to fill tank above dairy will do other place next. Pruned hibiscus in gardens around the house and trimed hedge on east side of the house. After lunch picked up trimmings and started to mow. Had some time off to go down to Harry's and watch next blast. Came home and completed most of the mowing need do the bit round the bottle tree and the cars at the top house. When for a quick ride around the cattle and fences before dark. Pumped water up from rain water tank. Poly tank we hadxfixed is nearly full again now. Watch MotoGP replay before bed. 
Tuesday 19
Big day. Left for Kingaroy at 9am normal shopping day. Home by 2pm then off to Toowoomba by 2.30 for Robyn's heart doctor appointment. Home again by 8pm. Very foggy in Toowoomba and wet most of the day. Dalby CC messaged to say they did not need me tomorrow. 
Wednesday 20
First relief day in Bell. I got an early morning call and since Dably CC had cancelled I went. Was not quite prepared for the nostalgia visit it would be. Not just of my highschool journey but cause mum had taught there for so many years too. School had been through some leadership challenges of recent as a result has very small highschool today I had 4 students in year 7/8 and 4 in 9/10. They had their prep for Awards Day while I was there. Good day. We recieved an invite to a Christmas party at Gaschk this evening. That will be nice. Rang Southern Phones when I got home as Dad's landline has been out for a month now. Dad was meant to get a visit from the cleaner and the Darling Downs Care group for an assessment today. Neither showed up. Overcast wet and cool day there has been some flooding about. 
Thursday 21
Jandowae today to teach 5/6 PE and 4/5 PE and them 3 lessons of 1 PE. Half through the last lesson I had to give the Year 1s back and do 30mins of Prep. Pretty warn by the end of the say. We then went to the Cooranga North CWA Christmas Party. Good night of catching up starting to become embedded into the community.  Helped with washing up and got home about 9pm. Pleasant evening. 
Friday 22
Fixed the fence near the top house and loaded the ute then went to Pegs to take delivery of the tank. Wendy and Trevor came over too and Robyn and Wendy did some cleaning for Peg. After lunch we headed to Ian and Jayne's. Got there about 7pm and went to tea at Nandos. 
Saturday 23
Breakfast at Labador with Ian and Jayne then over to Kerry near Beaudesert for Amy Corbett and Lindsay Huf wedding. Mixed weather conditions but a nice day. Good to see Will and Laura and Kirsty and Aaron. Came back to Ian and?Jaynes about 5pm. Went out to dinner at Hotel Pacific with Trudy and Ebony. In bed about 9.30pm

Week 68 13 - 20 July CRD 57 Wk2 Europe.

Sunday 13 Last day of Super Bikes. Better day for Aussies Talya came 7th and Tara 20th WCR and Remi 9th in SBK and Ollie Baylass 13th . His team mate came second again. Met a bloke who was a Jack Miller fan and we yarned between races.  Robyn and Kate had a great day and went to visit Chatsworth House the inspiration for Jane Austin's Pemberly House in Pride and Prejudice. Came back to accomdation at Hartshorne and they were having a Pizza night with live music. Small group about 30 people good fun and good evening. We got out washing done too.  Monday 14 Dried our washing and then headed to York. Thought we would take the non motorway roads but it was not fun just congestion. So we M1ed it. York was amazing. Old buildings very close together. Could spend ages there. We then went open to Thirsk for the night. Visited the Yorkshire Vet building. James Heriot centre was shut. Week 83 26 Oct - 1 Nov CRD84

Sunday 26 Church at Cooranga North. I lead and Allan preached. Then lunch at Pips n Cherries. Robyn got ready to go on calenders trip with Wendy and Maddie I watched some Supercars .Robyn left about 3pm. I adjusted the chain on to 500 before we had a storm. Bit of noise but not much rain for us. Dad and I watched a Clarksons farm before bed.  Monday 27 Relief at Dalby CC today. Cover Exam super and then I cover two year 8 math classes. Robyn had an eventful day on her bike ride. First one of the group fell over while getting the bikes out of the room and and damaged her wrist. Robyn had a dizzy spell after exerting herself moving a tree off the track and Wendy came a cropper when she spotted a snake going through a gateway. They are back in Esk tonight. It was a hot day today with a hot wind. Predicting rain tomorrow. I put on  slow cooker when I came home so we have lunches this week.  Tuesday 28 Dalby CC today. English and Vis Arts exams. Week 69 20-27 July CRD57 W3 Europe

Sunday 20 Started the day with a visit to Kelpies on the North East of Falkirk. These huge art installation of two houses heads represent images of the Scottish mythical beast the Kelpie a water creature that looks like a horse. Very impressive. More driving in the beautiful Scottish countryside to our breakfast spot Tinto Hills Tearooms near Thankerton. Here I met a motorcyclist enjoying a ride and a Sunday morning coffee. Really think I need to come back and ride here. Next we visited Hadrain's wall or the ruins of part of it. It was the Romans Defence line across English to keep the Scots out. Originally 4 metres high what we saw was part of the foundations. The view of the English countryside was picturebook idyllic. Next we went to Lockerbie to see and reflect on the event of the Lockerbie bombing where a bombed PanAm jet literally fell out of the sky in 1988. The site were three houses were destroyed and 11 people on the ground killed is now a reflective garden. The momentum ...
