Week 20 11 - 17 August

Sunday 11
Church at Cooranga North. Adam preached. Lunch at Pips n Cherries. We did not go at all last week. Watch Super bikes and had a long call with Zach. Robyn Repacked stuff in the garden shed. I found books to give to Jan Maree. Load empty gas bottles to exchange tomorrow. Watched a Clarkson Farm.
Monday 12
Started work on Wambo Wind Farm application for the church. Into to DCC to teach session 1&2 and 6&7. Robyn and Dad came into for appointments. Robyn with doctor and Dad to get his leg dressed. Then Robyn and I went to see Mal Smith. Think we can work with Mal. Robyn told her test showed her was in danger of diabetes and the cholesterol levels were high. On my way home stopped at Bell but they have no gas. Brought an impact screwdriver from M10. When I got home to use it it striped the driver tip. Disappointing. Sort Dad's phone bill and Lachy is booked to come tomorrow.
Tuesday 13
Relief today all year 7. Lachy came out and leveled house. We went and check church for restumping quote. Doctor called back about test for prostrate and bowel. All clear. Went to Bunning for screws for mums shed, Big W for hydration pack, woolies for groceries, and Butters for impact screwdriver tip. Rained most of the day for nearly 40mm.
Wednesday 14
At DCC again. Had a call from Tracer to work in Bell tomorrow but I am already booked. Picked up a gas bottle from Bell on the way home. Work on TTR when I got home. Appears the master cylinder is stuffed. Will try and get a nee one tomorrow. Dad and Robyn had a quiet day at home. Rain eased in the afternoon. 40mm all up.
Thursday 15
DCC day. They had Bible Quizz for the last two sessions so they did not need me. I went along to check out how it worked and it was very good. I wish i had been on to this idea years ago. Each class has three people nominated by teachers from each house they are given a focus passage (a different one for each class) a couple of weeks before and then classes are selected randomly their competitors come up and like a game show with buzzers they are asked 5 questions. All class members are asked to stand at the end and they are all asked a bonus question if you answer this question you get to pick a face on board behind which is a prizewhich was things a small Lego kit to a school pen. No great value just fun. I left about 2pm and headed to supercheap for brake cleaner to see if I can fix the TTR master cylinder as I could not buy a new one. I rang Chris earlier and if this did not work he had one I could lone. Stopped at Peter and Helen Lambley's on the way home to drop off my work on wind farm applications we chatted for a couple of hours. I got home about 5.30pm. I went to the diary and worked on blowing out the master cylinder no luck in getting it to work. Rang Chris and I will pick up his tomorrow. Robyn went to see her mum today. Bob is there redoing her laundry. She had a good visit and got home minutes after I got in from Lambley's.
Friday 16
Relief DCC. Picked up new clutch master cyclinder from Chris. It did not work either and I reverse bleed it by pushing oil into the calliper. Rang Chris and he suggested keep trying. So I did and it came good I have front brakes and can ride tomorrow. Will need to nake some further repairs to restore the bike to road worthy. Dad and Robyn when to Kingaroy and shopped.
Saturday 17
Bell Bunya trail ride. Completed two laps and only dropped the bike twice and did not fall down myself. Good fun. Nile went well. Did not pass anyone so I must be slow but riding to the conditions. Apparently they airlifted one bloke. Robyn did the washing. When I got home we put a post across the trough behind the diary to protect the ball tap.
