Week110 3-9 May CRD41
Sunday 3
Church in Bell followed by Committee of Management. Lunch at Pips n Cherries after. Home for a nap. Chantal took last of the bales in the other place cultivation and we opened the gates so the cattle from the back hill paddock and the spring could come down. Elise showed up on dark and Zac and Louise came a little later. Nice to see them.
Monday 4
Robyn took Bonny Doone over to Pegs and had lunch with her. I got up early and went for a bike ride to Crow's Nest and meet Troy and Chris for breakfast and then went on to Kilcoy for lunch with Paul. Zac and Louise went home and Elise spent the day with Dad. Public holiday today.
Tuesday 5
School in Bell. Became a bit fluey during the day so I came straight home to dop up and rest so i can do tomorrow. Robyn went to town. Dad did not after our big weekend. Elise left about lunch for her next catchup spot. Robyn was feeling a bit fluey too. See what tomorrow brings.
Wednesday 6
Bell today feeling OK in my flu battle. Robyn had a worse day. Came home and did nothing again. Ian arrived at about 7.30pm. Showered a little the evening. I pumped water up to make room in the tank.
Thursday 7
School in Bell stayed a bit later to sort out maths assignments. Dad and Ian went to Toowoomba for appointments for Dad. He had an ultrasound of his heart and turns out he has a stretch in his aorta which could burst if he did strenuous exercise. He is too old to operate but she was keen that the Ian David and I get ours checked. Robyn had a quite day at home.
Friday 8
Robyn went to work in Dalby to teach today. I preped my sermon for Sunday reusing one then I took a ride around the farm. Thought all the cattle were down from the back but some showed up later. After lunch rang the vet who said they had to come out for a visit to dispense drug for eye treatment. They could come out this afternoon. I got the weaners in and weighed then Vet arrived at 4.30 and we treated the bad one and about 6 others. Robyn and I took them back to the paddock below the mill before dark.
Saturday 9
Put the spear gate up beside the mill and retrieve quad bike that was out if fuel before going to Burrandowan. Most of Robyn's family was there. Nice day. Good weather. Having a bit of a struggle to throw my flu. Got Home about 9.30pm
