Week 11 9 - 16 June

Sunday 9
Church at Cooranga North. Adam preached and I opened. Alan and Peter where both away. The Brendan O'Brien's came. Nice family. Had a good chat with the ??? lads Came home for lunch and afternoon nap. Got through some of the jobs on this week's list. Changed address on our super funds. Changed Robyn's address at the bank. Setup Garmin and Google Maps for trip. Setup up new helmet. Sun visor must have been broken during painting. Fitted coms and pinlock. Updated firmware on coms and gps. Got bags out to pack. Robyn and I when for a ride and shuts gates so the cattle on the hill have to water at the other place. Cool all day today wind in the west. 
Monday 10
Spent morning setting up spotwalla and spot trip links etc and washing.  Robyn cook roast lamb she found cleaning out the freezer for lunch. Dad and I when out and fixed the pipe in the laneway and the float on the trough at the other place. Check feed for cattle in front paddocks and figure they will be right for the next 2 weeks. New usb port for the bike arrived so I fitted it and started to pack for Darwin.  
Tuesday 11
Dad and Robyn when to town. I did a rubbish run and then packed the bike and rode to Miles in prep for my SS3000K ironbutt ride. 
Wednesday 12
Started ride just after 12.30am. Refuel again in Roma but ran out 8ks from Tambo somebody stopped and took my fuel bag into Tambo and brought back some fuel. They would not let me pay for it. Lost about an hour. Had a coffee and pie in Barcaldine. Made it to Camooweal by 8.30pm missed dinner but. 
Thursday 13
On the road again about 4.45am. Which landed me at Barkley Homestead for sunrise amazing. Enjoyed with a big breakfast. Meet Trev in Katherine he was about to start his return trip from Darwin. Arrived in Darwin at 8.30pm. SS3000K complete. Accomdation may be interesting, referbed room upstairs it appears the downstairs units are fill of aboriginal people when I got here they were sitting on the ground large family group eating KFC. Old car ingrown of one unit with a dog living in it. Time will tell. 
Friday 13
In Carleen's recommendation had breakfast at The Foreshore Cafe. Then went and donated blood. From there to the track. Hidden Valley is a great track great amenity plenty of shade and viewing spots. Meet Warren and Kerry had great day including tour of erebus garage. When to Sailing Club on Louise's commendation. Best place to watch the sunset. Booked for our anniversary dinner tomorrow night. Picked Robyn up from the airport about 12.30am. 
Saturday 14
Breakfast at Foreshore again and out to the track fir another day of racing. Warm day about 32 C. Came back to our unit about 4.30 showered and out to dinner by 6pm appears some of our dodgy neighbours have moved out.  Dinner was great. So good to spend an evening with Warren and Kez.
