Week 52 23 -29 March CRD16

Sunday 23
Preached at Cooranga North from Ps 44. Went to Pips n Cherries for lunch. Came home to an afternoon sleep and slow afternoon and evening. Pumped water. Rang and chated to Jenny Lee about plaque for mum and other stuff. She is packing and tidying to get house appraised. Bruce has already moved in his head. Biggest concern is that they will become homeless as they wait for a builder. 
Monday 24
Relief in Bell today. 7 ITD went well and Year 10 Science was the usual disrupted mess. Principal Rob came up to see me and warn me to watch my proximity to kids they will make stuff up and are happy to submitcreports to the department. Went and saw him after to let him know that if I was in danger let me know I don't have to cone. He is a big bloke and they reported him I think is where his concern came from. After tomorrow I am done with them. Robyn had a very productive day. Emptied the ute, washed, sorted cattle water, baked, made a meat loaf, filled in dad's patient form for his next sleep doctor visit, rang Kathy Thurston about retreat we are going to tomorrow and worked on tracer application. When I got home made more mouse baits holders and refilled existing ones not as much activity in last 24hrs. 
Tuesday 25
Into Bell again today. Robyn took me in and we went to the dump with rubbish on our way. Started with ITD and one student finished his stool. Mel from the exec team came to my class today and her authority worked on containing the class. She rearranged the students and they moved at her request. They did more work than on any other occassion. Not that what I had was well prepared. I had to write another report and ask that the student who had finished not do ITD tomorrow because without direct and consistent supervision he can not be safe. As a result of yesterday day and a number of other things he and two others are suspended for the rest of the week. Problem solved for now. Robyn went to town with Dad and pack everything and and picked me up in Bell and we headed to Moogerah for first of our Health Church Facilitator training. We arrived about 7pm. Stu and Andrew P are here along with Dave and Kathy Thurston. Great to see them again.
Wednesday 26
Today Heathy Church Facilitator continued today. Tim Dyer came in Kate last night. Travel agent rang today to say prices of flights in Europe had come down. She sent a updated itinerary and I paid and she booked the flights. Some had changed but we could get lower price if we changed days so we did to give us 2 days more in Belguim. So the trip is booked we are going. 
Thursday 27
Finished up healthy church training Cleaned up Andrew Persal pray with us for Mackay before we left. Got to Ben and Nays about 4pm. Good to see them again. Been showering here on and off.
Friday 28
Robyn went with Nay to school drop off and I setup for LoSoP school rep zoom meeting. After that I went to Meridy's and picked up some stuff to dump. We went to lunch at Meridy's Cafe and Robyn and Nay joined us there. After lunch I went to Blood Bank and then picked up Meridy and went to the dump with her. Then back to drop her off at home and back to Orion for dinner with Ben and Nay, kids and Robyn. Busy day but nice day. Itcwas my 245 donation took 1h 3 mins and 13 cycles. Think they are getting longer. Check next time. 
Saturday 29
Left Ben and Nay's about 6.30am. Prepared the devotion for the youth camp on the way. We had breakfast at Pips n Cherries. Devotion went well. Got back to tge farm and midday. After lunch we had a nap after some busy days. Then Robyn did some cooking and I did the mouse baits. The cooking was to take with us to the monthly Ironpot hall get together. Nice night and Peg was pleased we had come. 
Nice night and another good day.

Week 68 13 - 20 July CRD 57 Wk2 Europe.

Sunday 13 Last day of Super Bikes. Better day for Aussies Talya came 7th and Tara 20th WCR and Remi 9th in SBK and Ollie Baylass 13th . His team mate came second again. Met a bloke who was a Jack Miller fan and we yarned between races.  Robyn and Kate had a great day and went to visit Chatsworth House the inspiration for Jane Austin's Pemberly House in Pride and Prejudice. Came back to accomdation at Hartshorne and they were having a Pizza night with live music. Small group about 30 people good fun and good evening. We got out washing done too.  Monday 14 Dried our washing and then headed to York. Thought we would take the non motorway roads but it was not fun just congestion. So we M1ed it. York was amazing. Old buildings very close together. Could spend ages there. We then went open to Thirsk for the night. Visited the Yorkshire Vet building. James Heriot centre was shut. Week 83 26 Oct - 1 Nov CRD84

Sunday 26 Church at Cooranga North. I lead and Allan preached. Then lunch at Pips n Cherries. Robyn got ready to go on calenders trip with Wendy and Maddie I watched some Supercars .Robyn left about 3pm. I adjusted the chain on to 500 before we had a storm. Bit of noise but not much rain for us. Dad and I watched a Clarksons farm before bed.  Monday 27 Relief at Dalby CC today. Cover Exam super and then I cover two year 8 math classes. Robyn had an eventful day on her bike ride. First one of the group fell over while getting the bikes out of the room and and damaged her wrist. Robyn had a dizzy spell after exerting herself moving a tree off the track and Wendy came a cropper when she spotted a snake going through a gateway. They are back in Esk tonight. It was a hot day today with a hot wind. Predicting rain tomorrow. I put on  slow cooker when I came home so we have lunches this week.  Tuesday 28 Dalby CC today. English and Vis Arts exams. Week 69 20-27 July CRD57 W3 Europe

Sunday 20 Started the day with a visit to Kelpies on the North East of Falkirk. These huge art installation of two houses heads represent images of the Scottish mythical beast the Kelpie a water creature that looks like a horse. Very impressive. More driving in the beautiful Scottish countryside to our breakfast spot Tinto Hills Tearooms near Thankerton. Here I met a motorcyclist enjoying a ride and a Sunday morning coffee. Really think I need to come back and ride here. Next we visited Hadrain's wall or the ruins of part of it. It was the Romans Defence line across English to keep the Scots out. Originally 4 metres high what we saw was part of the foundations. The view of the English countryside was picturebook idyllic. Next we went to Lockerbie to see and reflect on the event of the Lockerbie bombing where a bombed PanAm jet literally fell out of the sky in 1988.
