Week 53 31 March - 5 April CRD21

Sunday 30
Church in Bell today run by the Kingaroy Youth to end their camp. The Cullen's are part of this group and they are the Grandchildren of Chris and Louis Henning. So a large contingent for the Newton and Henning families showed up. Including Chris and Louis and Noela Newton and Dianne Hennibg and all her kids and grandkids with included the Wenhans including Jay and B from Cooranga North. It was a privilege to be there. Went to Pips n Cherries after and then home to catch up on Motogp and Wsbk. Set gates to start the process of moving weaners to bull paddock. Completed EQ  online trading in risk assessment and child safety and submitted certificates. 
Monday 31
Up early had to go to Pips n Cherries and take roller from the door and go to school to mark woodwork on my way to Dalby CC. Got roller no worries but Kids had taken work home so I was a DCC earliest ever. Covered for Jason Peroette 9 Bib Studies 12 Eng 11/12 Mod and 9 Spanish. Morning tea duty and a chat at lunch with Jan about behaviour system and building culture. To Bunnings to get rollers and I got some chain saw lube too. Fixed the door on the way home. Cuppa and then Robyn and I moved cattle out of the old Bottle tree hill behind new dairy. Plan is to move them to the bull paddock by the end of the week. Robyn did the washing and checked cattle today. Good day all up. 
Tuesday 1
Dalby CC today. Cross Country today run for prep to year 12. Little one 500m then 1km 2k 3k and 4k based on age. Basically all the highschool did 3 or 4. Besmcause you could see runners mist of the time each race was run consecutively each student earned points based on their finishing position. Last got one point. Second last 2 all the way to first. PE guy had irmt worked out so that by the end of the day every runner had a statement of position and number of house points they earned. Really rewards participation and effort. That was followed by yr5 Spanish and Year 9 English. Both went well. Home and Robyn and Dad got home about 3pm . I was there just after 4. Cuppa then Robyn and I brought weaners off the hill and put them in the paddock below the dairy. We chased a heifer out of the cultivation too. I redid mouse baits most were nearly empty last done Sunday afternoon. That is 2 days. 
Wednesday 2
Raining today. All day. Dad said we had about 30mm. Relief at DCC. Cover for teachers on Year 8 Camp. Robyn went to Kingaroy for hairdresser and then to Woman's event at Cooranga North hall. I between we repaired fence on paddock weaners are in below dairy and checked fence between bull paddock and hill. 
Thursday 3
Relief at Dalby CC. Took ute as it is raining still. And polly pipe which I bent at lunch time to make mouse bait holders. Back home I set them up each one holds 30 baits. Needcto do some prep for tomorrow's lessons as I take some responsibility for classes next term. Annette rang to thank me for fixing the door and Jan Maree asked me to speak to year 10 about mentoring year 7. 
Friday 4
Last day of term and last day at Dalby. Day included building opening and easter chapel lead by senior students. Both went very well. Marie the Prinical can be very proud. Had to make some timetable changes due to away people so I did not get to speak to year 10.  Came home and setup GPS on Explorer 1 for my first Southern Cross LD ride. Went into Kumbia to fill up and get start fuel docket. Robyn started work on cleaning mud out of the shed. 
Saturday 5 
Up early started to ride at 3.20. Travel via Dalby Tara and The Gums to Miles for breakfast then on to Bilo via Taroom. Meet 4 other guys there. One from Townsville, one from Bundy and the others from North Brisbane. Back home by 5pm 1026k for the trip. Robyn and finished the shed and mowed the grass. Her and Dad had brought up most of the weaners to the bull paddock but 10 jumped the fence on the way up. We had a go at getting them in but we're unsuccessful. Try again tomorrow.

Week 68 13 - 20 July CRD 57 Wk2 Europe.

Sunday 13 Last day of Super Bikes. Better day for Aussies Talya came 7th and Tara 20th WCR and Remi 9th in SBK and Ollie Baylass 13th . His team mate came second again. Met a bloke who was a Jack Miller fan and we yarned between races.  Robyn and Kate had a great day and went to visit Chatsworth House the inspiration for Jane Austin's Pemberly House in Pride and Prejudice. Came back to accomdation at Hartshorne and they were having a Pizza night with live music. Small group about 30 people good fun and good evening. We got out washing done too.  Monday 14 Dried our washing and then headed to York. Thought we would take the non motorway roads but it was not fun just congestion. So we M1ed it. York was amazing. Old buildings very close together. Could spend ages there. We then went open to Thirsk for the night. Visited the Yorkshire Vet building. James Heriot centre was shut. Week 83 26 Oct - 1 Nov CRD84

Sunday 26 Church at Cooranga North. I lead and Allan preached. Then lunch at Pips n Cherries. Robyn got ready to go on calenders trip with Wendy and Maddie I watched some Supercars .Robyn left about 3pm. I adjusted the chain on to 500 before we had a storm. Bit of noise but not much rain for us. Dad and I watched a Clarksons farm before bed.  Monday 27 Relief at Dalby CC today. Cover Exam super and then I cover two year 8 math classes. Robyn had an eventful day on her bike ride. First one of the group fell over while getting the bikes out of the room and and damaged her wrist. Robyn had a dizzy spell after exerting herself moving a tree off the track and Wendy came a cropper when she spotted a snake going through a gateway. They are back in Esk tonight. It was a hot day today with a hot wind. Predicting rain tomorrow. I put on  slow cooker when I came home so we have lunches this week.  Tuesday 28 Dalby CC today. English and Vis Arts exams. Week 69 20-27 July CRD57 W3 Europe

Sunday 20 Started the day with a visit to Kelpies on the North East of Falkirk. These huge art installation of two houses heads represent images of the Scottish mythical beast the Kelpie a water creature that looks like a horse. Very impressive. More driving in the beautiful Scottish countryside to our breakfast spot Tinto Hills Tearooms near Thankerton. Here I met a motorcyclist enjoying a ride and a Sunday morning coffee. Really think I need to come back and ride here. Next we visited Hadrain's wall or the ruins of part of it. It was the Romans Defence line across English to keep the Scots out. Originally 4 metres high what we saw was part of the foundations. The view of the English countryside was picturebook idyllic. Next we went to Lockerbie to see and reflect on the event of the Lockerbie bombing where a bombed PanAm jet literally fell out of the sky in 1988.
