Week 57 27 -3 May CRD26

Sunday 27
Preached at Cooranga North today Small church just 9 today. Josh and Juneeta left while we were away and Jenny Lee came. After church we picked up Jenny Lee from home and went to Pips n Cherries for lunch. After lunch I was the MotoGP sprint race. Then Robyn and I went out on the quads to bring last 4 weaners in the bull paddock with the others. No luck. Try again tomorrow. Watched all of Moto GP in Jerez live. Repaired bike taillight. Found it only needed a new fuse. 
Monday 28
Up early and off to Toowoomba to donate blood 246. Jenny Lee and Dad went back to Bundy while I was away. After blood I went and picked up another pair of cargo works pants I had been wearing to school and service kits for buggies. Got home for lunch and Robyn had done the washing. We went and fixed the yards next and set the hay up. Robyn collected the grain troughs and set them up. We will bring the weaners in tomorrow. Amazing how quiet the house is without dad here. Has made me more aware of the privilege we have spending this time with him. 
Tuesday 29
Fruitful day. Took rubbish to the dump in Bell. Brought weaners in from top half of the bull paddock. Brought all but a cow and calf out of the middle back paddock. Cleared the spring and the spring improve pasture paddock. After lunch we finished the top part of extreme fence. When we got back the four weaners from the lower part of the bull paddock were at the yard. Finished the bottom part of the extreme fence just a few tie wires to go.  Pretty happy with today's effort. 
Wednesday 30
Bell ITD today. Need to spend some time making a plan for the term. It will be hard to implement as the kids just don't show up. 2 to start the year 10 lesson. Year 7 we ran the F1 cars in the library. It was great primary kids came to watch and it went very well. Good fun. Came home and ride pants arrived. Not sure when I will get to try them. John Drew showed up with another bale of hay that is 6 all up. Robyn opened the fence so the cow and calf we did not get yesterday can come into the bull paddock for water. She had KYB this afternoon so I started the afternoon weaner routine Put out grain let the weaners out and put a new bale of hay in the yard. They dis not go straight for the grain. See in the morning if they took it. 
Thursday 1
Dalby CC day today. Robyn went to the dentist in Kingaroy and worked on her induction stuff for Dalby CC. When I got home I we put hay out for the weaners and let them into lane for grain. Looks like some were eating it tonight. Went up the back and tried again to bring the cow and calf out. Calf went through the fence cow would not go. Hard work trying to help them.
Friday 2 
Dalby again today. This morning I booked a place in Grandma's birth town outside Edinburgh. School was fine. Robyn came in for CWCI event to find it is next week. After school I voted and fueled the bike. Ethan and Micheal came over to see how to feed the weaners tomorrow while we are away. We put out 2 bails of hay. A few more cattle have come down the front. 
Saturday 3
Up early and headed to Ben and Nays and then to ASBK at Queensland raceway. Good day out. We all went. Nay and the kids left a bit early. Stayed the night a Ben and Nay's.

Week 68 13 - 20 July CRD 57 Wk2 Europe.

Sunday 13 Last day of Super Bikes. Better day for Aussies Talya came 7th and Tara 20th WCR and Remi 9th in SBK and Ollie Baylass 13th . His team mate came second again. Met a bloke who was a Jack Miller fan and we yarned between races.  Robyn and Kate had a great day and went to visit Chatsworth House the inspiration for Jane Austin's Pemberly House in Pride and Prejudice. Came back to accomdation at Hartshorne and they were having a Pizza night with live music. Small group about 30 people good fun and good evening. We got out washing done too.  Monday 14 Dried our washing and then headed to York. Thought we would take the non motorway roads but it was not fun just congestion. So we M1ed it. York was amazing. Old buildings very close together. Could spend ages there. We then went open to Thirsk for the night. Visited the Yorkshire Vet building. James Heriot centre was shut. Week 83 26 Oct - 1 Nov CRD84

Sunday 26 Church at Cooranga North. I lead and Allan preached. Then lunch at Pips n Cherries. Robyn got ready to go on calenders trip with Wendy and Maddie I watched some Supercars .Robyn left about 3pm. I adjusted the chain on to 500 before we had a storm. Bit of noise but not much rain for us. Dad and I watched a Clarksons farm before bed.  Monday 27 Relief at Dalby CC today. Cover Exam super and then I cover two year 8 math classes. Robyn had an eventful day on her bike ride. First one of the group fell over while getting the bikes out of the room and and damaged her wrist. Robyn had a dizzy spell after exerting herself moving a tree off the track and Wendy came a cropper when she spotted a snake going through a gateway. They are back in Esk tonight. It was a hot day today with a hot wind. Predicting rain tomorrow. I put on  slow cooker when I came home so we have lunches this week.  Tuesday 28 Dalby CC today. English and Vis Arts exams. Week 69 20-27 July CRD57 W3 Europe

Sunday 20 Started the day with a visit to Kelpies on the North East of Falkirk. These huge art installation of two houses heads represent images of the Scottish mythical beast the Kelpie a water creature that looks like a horse. Very impressive. More driving in the beautiful Scottish countryside to our breakfast spot Tinto Hills Tearooms near Thankerton. Here I met a motorcyclist enjoying a ride and a Sunday morning coffee. Really think I need to come back and ride here. Next we visited Hadrain's wall or the ruins of part of it. It was the Romans Defence line across English to keep the Scots out. Originally 4 metres high what we saw was part of the foundations. The view of the English countryside was picturebook idyllic. Next we went to Lockerbie to see and reflect on the event of the Lockerbie bombing where a bombed PanAm jet literally fell out of the sky in 1988. The site were three houses were destroyed and 11 people on the ground killed is now a reflective garden. The momentum ...
