Preached in Bell today from Phil 3 & 4. Press On Imiate and Stand firm. After Robyn cleaned the church with Tracey and Liz B in prep for Trevor Weier's funeral on Tuesday. Rob Farr is going to lead at it. After we went to lunch at Pips n Cherries. Matt call and wanted the scale box back. After watching some WSBK I feed the weaners. Planning to feed two buckets in the morning and 3 at night. For the next few days. Found 2 good bags so far. Robyn and I put them in the diary and then ran the mesh on the laneway fence. Got dark so will finish it tomorrow.
Monday 19
Jandowae today. Nice to be back there. Good day although a bit disorganised had a cover a teacher did no know about. Finished with parade. Home about 3.30. Dad and Robyn had been to doctor in Dalby. Robyn was finishing the laneway fence when I got home. Two cows and a heifer had come down from the back so we put them in with the others. An investigation of the back hill paddock revealed there is still about 20 head up there.
Tuesday 20
Jandowae today. I gave JB a copy of Loving your students on purpose.
Had a Year 7/8 Mayhs and then two classes with year 4/5. Writing complex sentences in HASS and I fully struggle with this. They don't know what they should be doing and neither do I. Last lesson was on depression. The joy was none of these kids know someone who has taken their own life. Dropped in to see Lachy on my way home. We made a plan to clean out under the road with his vac pump. I feed the weaners and I check the bull paddock fence and opened the gate so they have more grass. Saw a cow in the mill trough paddock his morning don't know how she got there. When to look where she might be and did not find her again this afternoon. Micheal is setup to start planting. Brendan OBrien is going to do it as Micheal has to go to Springsure.
Wednesday 21
Bell today. None of my year 9/10 were at school today. 3 suspended for vaping and 2 did not show. Gave me a good chunk of time to get equipment review audit done. Year 7 went well. Picked up a gas bottle pn the way from. Robyn came to Bell for bible study and checked put what the school looked like cause we are on lunch next week. Came home and had a chat to dad before feeding the weaners and heading up the back to check cattle. They are still up on the hill. Robyn got five more in today. I did not manage any. Dad was concerned about one of the bulls. When to have a look but could not see him. Dad is sounding a little like he he getting some  bug.
Thursday 22
Dalby CC today. After work I got rollers for the garden shed and fueled bike. Had a bit of a near miss on the way to Bell. Drifted on to wrong side of the road in the oath of a truck. OK but not good. Picked up painted cups and aluminium bars  I had ordered for post office in Bell. Dud not do anything this afternoon just yarned to Dad. Brendan had been over but still too wet to plant. He thinks I need to worm cattle. Good thing I am bringing them in. Weaners ate this morning's grain but I did not put more out. Lochie came over for tea. He has the outside stumps lose and seven hole dug. He will be halfway by tomorrow night he reckons. But late to bed. Meridy rang for a chat really.
Friday 23
Dalby CC today. After school went to Dalby Ag Supplies and brought worming stuff for tomorrow. Cost $1000. Hope it will be OK with Ian. Robyn spent tge day in Toowoomba with her mum. Her appointment did not finish until late. So Robyn drove her back to Werona and I went over and picked her up. Peg went to heart specialist about her lack of stamina. Nothing obvious so she will go back for more tests next Friday. Think Peg was very thankful to have Robyn to go down with her. Wendy went to the appointment too.
Saturday 25
Got the cattle in today. Weigh them and wormed them. We processed 77 cows 65 calves 41 weaners. There are 14 head that we did not get in. So that is a total of 200 head with the bulls head on the farm. We put the weaners into the bull paddock again with Graham Caldwell's steer and cows and calves we will move to the paddock behind the other place mill. Plan now now is to move weaners to the sugar drip paddock in front of the mill. For a while. Started at 12 after getting them in and setting up yards finished at 5.45pm and it was dark.
