Sunday 25
Church at Cooranga North. Alan was to preach and lead. He was pleased I had come because he had a failing voice so I lead for him. After church we when to lunch at Pips n Cherries back home we had a quiet afternoon. Watched MotoGP Sprint race and stayed up to watch Moto 2 and MotoGP in Silverstone UK very good races. Australian won Moto 2. Brendan OBrien started planting.
Monday 26
Off the Toowoomba early to donate blood. Brought fittings to sort relocating trough to the other place. After lunch we had a go at bringing the weaners in. No luck. So we lifted the tree in the weaner yard off the fence and then installed the trough at the other place. Brendan finished the planting.
Tuesday 27
Before going to Kingaroy this morning 30 of the weaners came in so Robyn and I quickly ran them over the scales and sent them on their way to the sugar drip. As we went to town we could see they were there. In Kingaroy I went to the dentist. Robyn and Dad went to shop. Dad had a dizzy spell and felt quite unwell. He made it back to the van while Robyn did the shopping. After which we came home again. Dad seemed to be recovering as the day went on. It gave as time at home so we got a number of jobs done. Mostly fence repairs. Robyn preped for tomorrow's bbq lunch at Bell School. I did some Europe planning and some of tge books.
Wednesday 28
Bell today and our turn to do Well-being Wednesday. Worked with Riley to do a BBQ lunch Robyn came in to help. Stayed behind to do Truma PD with the other staff. Robyn managed to lock the other Weaners in from Bull Paddock. Dad found a wire broken on the fence near the gate to the mill at the other place. No sure if any of the weaners have gone through but most seem to be there. He counted 28 he could see. Watched state of origin. Queensland lost in Brisbane. Robyn went to Bible Study and has been working hard on her crocheted blanket she started years ago.
Thursday 29
Dalby CC today. Straight forward day. Came home and ran last of the Weaners over the scales. Dad came over and read the scales. I then sent them to the other place. Their was 9 that is 39 on the sugar drip. Two must have jumped into the back hill paddock. Not sure how or when we will retrieve those. Robyn went with her mum to Wendy's ready for appointments for tomorrow. I had our first Mentor session with Lindy.
Friday 30
Dalby CC today. Good day. I had a session with Bernii in LoSoP rep training today. It was a very good session. First time I think I have gained an understanding of high expectations - high relationship matrix and how it works. After school I went and got the bolts I think I need to mount spot lights on Explorer2. Then went to Dalby Rural Supplies. They had a spear trap gate in stock. Rang Ian and we brought it with a couple of wing panels. Very excited about this option to get the cattle from the back hill paddock. Next i went to mower supplies and got fuel taps to put on Explorer2 at service next week. Dropped scales brains at Matt's on the way home. Robyn spent the day with her Mum and Wendy. Peg had a series of tests. They came home then and I picked Robyn up from the Bore Corner about 5.30pm.
Saturday 31
Last night was rainy. Measured 26mm this morning making it 31 for last 2 days. Morning was damp and misty. Good day to catchup on some book work currently 3 months behind. Had an unexpected blackout. So I unloaded and setup the speartrap and we loaded the rubbish and a fuel drum and went to Bell for fuel as generator looked low. The power was back by the time we got home. Robyn and I went to Ironpot for lunch at the hall. Met a young bloke Stuart Milne a vet who lives at Elsmere works in Dalby. When we got home Robyn and I went and found cattle up the back hill. There is 13 of ours and one of Boxer's. Robyn continued work on her crocheted blanket. It is taking shape even if she has had to pull it of out a gee timed.
