Sunday 28
Made the call not to go to church today. We tidyed up and took asbestos sheets to the dump. Packed our gear and got stuff from the Dapplewood including halaconeas and tyre for the ute. Watched MotoGP in Japan too. Had a dinner from Andergrove store which is now $20. And packed the ute ready for an early start.
Monday 29
Left Mackay about 4.10am and arrived at the farm at 3.15pm. Stopped at Miriamvale and Wondia and got milk in Kumbia. Got home to a cow down at the trough at the other place. She was had it so I shot her and dragged her away. We need to muster and sort and reduce the number of stock. We will do that after MotoGP.
Tuesday 30
Finalised bookings for MotoGP and sent out costings. Went to Kingaroy. Tried to get a hair cut but it was not possible. Try in Dalby tomorrow. Went down to see campers and have a chat. Ethan who had a buster yesterday seems to be OK. Watched 1st in latest season of Brokenwood. Series 9
Wednesday 1
Had to pump out septic tank this morning. Built bracket for light mount on bike. Took Dad to doctor appointment to have skin cancer removed from his nose. Got a hair cut in Dalby while I was there. Came home and completed bike wiring. Need to do mounts tomorrow.
Thursday 2
Up early to go to Blood bank in Toowoomba. Came home and campers had left so I went around and shut the gates so cattle are now off the hill and on cultivation. After lunch I finished off the driving lights on Explorer 2. They are a lot brighter than the old one. It was dark by the time I was done. I achieved my goal of make wiring much neater.
Friday 3
Spent morning clean up space where I worked on my bike, packing for Mackay and MotoGP, After lunch Robyn headed to Brisbane to help Ben and Nay move and I did are books and went with Dianne Henning to the first part school reunion. Great night. Really enjoyed catching up with Jenny Crammer. Very interesting women. Erica Hanwright dominated conversation a bit with more wines. Good to see John and Linda Skerman too.
