Week 82 19-25 Oct MotoGP CRD79

Sunday 19
Stu and I went in and parked at Siberia parking and went in there. Stayed up there all day. Great day of racing. Joel came 2nd Sennea won Moto2 and unfortunately Jack fell of at turn 5 Raul Fernandez a Rookie won on the Trackhouse Aprilla. Sennea's win brought the first Australian national at Phillip Island since Casey Stoner in 2012. Good day
Went to the Philip Island Pub for dinner. Pretty tried tonight
Monday 20
Had breakfast before we left the island. Got away about 9am. Started to drizzle as we headed north. Not heavey but annoying and made the road wet. Went to visit a mate of Dave's Troy's dad at Yarra Glen. He had a big shed for us to park in and then he took us into town to have lunch at the pub. The rain has eased by then but we rode shortest route yo Merrijig tonight's stop. Troy and Stu rode up Mt Buller. We had dinner at the Hunt Hotel. A place I need to bring Robyn back to.
Tuesday 21
Getting started is hard with this crew I am in a "Want to be home mood" and the fiddling around is hard. This morning Troy Dave and Stu made the call to find a different way to Goulburn which is fine Darren Kaleb and I stuck to the original plan which turned out to be better than I had remembered. The day started with 250k of winding mountain road and finished with 350k of Hume. The other trip was eventful. First Dave's rear shock failed. He made the call to go to Albury to the BM dealer who is replacing it tomorrow for him. He is going to make his own way home from there. Troy and Stu were the otherside of Canberra making their way to Goulburn and Stu ran off the road and into a gutter and fell off. Was knocked out for a bit. Spent the night in Canberra hospital. So the trip is going to crap a bit at this end too. Darren got good news hus claim has been accepted and he will now need to wait for the assessor to make a call about repair or write off and value. So today finished with Dave in Albury Troy and Stu in Canberra and Darren, Kelab and me in Goulburn.
Wednesday 22
Spoke to Stu this morning. His daughter is on her way from Sydney to pick him up. Sounds a bit sore and sorry. We (Kelab Darren and I) made our earliest start 7.45am. Had breakfast in Oberon. Very windy all day today. Nearly blew us off the road. Stopped at Bathurst to visit the track. I went and brought some 10mm spanners to tighten spotlight mounts. Then we rode Bells line and the Putty before reaching Singleton about 6.30pm.
Dave got his bike fixed and rode to Wagga and Troy made his way to Orange. Aiming to get home tomorrow.
Thursday 23
Robyn work at Dalby CC today. I decided to leave Darren and Kelab to sort out their own packing. I was on the road 6.50am 1007k to home. Fueled at Bulahdelah. Dropped gear at Telegraph point. Then on to Coffs Harbour, Grafton , Kyogle, Warwick and Dinner in Toowoomba. Home by 7.10pm. Good to be home. Troy and his Dad Dave went to Gunnedah. Darren and Kabel got home about lunch time. Did not leave Singleton till 9.30am. Stu has another scan on his shoulder and it is just deep tissue damage no breaks.
Friday 24
Robyn worked in Bell. Slow day today. Did some emails and bookwork check water for Dad. Roz and John Mazes came to visit Dad and had lunch with us. They left about 2pm. I unpacked the bike. Sort an electric bike for Robyn for Monday and Tuesday. Rang Dalby CC and QCAA and sorted my connection to Dalby CC and role for exams.
Saturday 25
Robyn and her Mum went to to Julie's grandkids musical production on Oliver. I fixed the flag pole and the fence at the other place. Brought the 500 down and blew up the tyres. Watched some motoGP too. Robyn and I went to the monthly BBQ dinner over at Ironpot Hall.
