Week101 1-7March CRD12

Sunday 1
Church in Bell. ACM after then lunch at Pips n Cherries. Home for a nap and watch MotoGP. Long call with Ben and later with Kate. Cowes have been mysteriously appearing in the laneway. When I checked this afternoon they were in the Bee Paddock crop. Think a few are jumping the fence into the in the creek. So I shut up the camping paddock so they can only come down as far as the dam. See how that works. 
Monday 2
School in Jandowae. Tough day these kids are really hard work they do not know how to stop and listen. Finding it hard work. 
Robyn went to the church to clean the church ready for Youth Camp thus weekend. When I hot home I moved and setup the spear gate at the mill. Started the other pump. It worked not sure how well it pumped. I went to the otherplace and found 2 of the steers in the crop.
Tuesday 3
Dad has to fast before blood tests thus morning so we left for town at at about 8.30am and had breakfast in town. Came home and needed a nap. We over slept and by the time I had loaded the dump stuff the dump was closed. Went to the other place to fix the fence I found yesterday. Found John, Micheal's dad fixing the boundary fence. His bull and our bull had been fighting and broken the fence. Our bull is in their yard tonight. Will have to get him back tomorrow. 
Wednesday 4
Worked on going through email to start the day. Then Robyn and I retrieved the bull from the Drew's. We checked some fences and straining the fence between the Camping paddock and the Bee Paddock. We put the gate up at the top end of the bull paddock too. After lunch we went to Cooranga North and started on the church. Brendan came down with the loader and we removed both back stairs and the porch, the tank, tank stand and the tree beside it. Leanne came up and we yarned. Came home and Dad had had a call concerned about the bull on the neighbours fence again. He had been over and moved him on. We went over and he was down with the steers. We will look at it again tomorrow
 Thursday 5
Robyn went to work on Bell. I shut the bull and steers out of the back half of the Jimbour paddock to keep the bull away from the neighbours heifers. Took the bins to the dump and went to the Butcher for dog bones. Then Dad and I went to Carol Klein's funeral. Saw Nick and Larrisa. Came home through Bell to have lunch at Pips n Cherries. Came home and I went to Toowoomba on the bike to donate blood. Stopped on the way and chatted to Lindy. Got home about 8.30pm. Marie messaged to ask me to work tomorrow. Spoke to Alan and Brendan to say I would not be at the church tomorrow. Maybe Saturday. 
Friday 6
Teach DalbyCC. Robyn went to the world day of prayer in Bell and then to visit her mum. When I got home I went for a ride over the farm. Check cattle and water. Put the pump on to tank behind dairy. Brendan worked at the church and filled in the holes with gravel. 
Saturday 7
Went to Men's breakfast in Bell then the Cooranga North to work on church ramp. Use Brendan's dingo to dig out pathway. Came home and napped and worked on accounts and email. Got most of it sorted.

Week 68 13 - 20 July CRD 57 Wk2 Europe.

Sunday 13 Last day of Super Bikes. Better day for Aussies Talya came 7th and Tara 20th WCR and Remi 9th in SBK and Ollie Baylass 13th . His team mate came second again. Met a bloke who was a Jack Miller fan and we yarned between races.  Robyn and Kate had a great day and went to visit Chatsworth House the inspiration for Jane Austin's Pemberly House in Pride and Prejudice. Came back to accomdation at Hartshorne and they were having a Pizza night with live music. Small group about 30 people good fun and good evening. We got out washing done too.  Monday 14 Dried our washing and then headed to York. Thought we would take the non motorway roads but it was not fun just congestion. So we M1ed it. York was amazing. Old buildings very close together. Could spend ages there. We then went open to Thirsk for the night. Visited the Yorkshire Vet building. James Heriot centre was shut. Week 83 26 Oct - 1 Nov CRD84

Sunday 26 Church at Cooranga North. I lead and Allan preached. Then lunch at Pips n Cherries. Robyn got ready to go on calenders trip with Wendy and Maddie I watched some Supercars .Robyn left about 3pm. I adjusted the chain on to 500 before we had a storm. Bit of noise but not much rain for us. Dad and I watched a Clarksons farm before bed.  Monday 27 Relief at Dalby CC today. Cover Exam super and then I cover two year 8 math classes. Robyn had an eventful day on her bike ride. First one of the group fell over while getting the bikes out of the room and and damaged her wrist. Robyn had a dizzy spell after exerting herself moving a tree off the track and Wendy came a cropper when she spotted a snake going through a gateway. They are back in Esk tonight. It was a hot day today with a hot wind. Predicting rain tomorrow. I put on  slow cooker when I came home so we have lunches this week.  Tuesday 28 Dalby CC today. English and Vis Arts exams. Week 69 20-27 July CRD57 W3 Europe

Sunday 20 Started the day with a visit to Kelpies on the North East of Falkirk. These huge art installation of two houses heads represent images of the Scottish mythical beast the Kelpie a water creature that looks like a horse. Very impressive. More driving in the beautiful Scottish countryside to our breakfast spot Tinto Hills Tearooms near Thankerton. Here I met a motorcyclist enjoying a ride and a Sunday morning coffee. Really think I need to come back and ride here. Next we visited Hadrain's wall or the ruins of part of it. It was the Romans Defence line across English to keep the Scots out. Originally 4 metres high what we saw was part of the foundations. The view of the English countryside was picturebook idyllic. Next we went to Lockerbie to see and reflect on the event of the Lockerbie bombing where a bombed PanAm jet literally fell out of the sky in 1988. The site were three houses were destroyed and 11 people on the ground killed is now a reflective garden. The momentum ...
